Free, three-day seminar: The American West and the Western Film Genre



The Film Foundation’s Story of Movies is offering free professional development seminars for teachers, grades 5 – 12 on August 1, 2 and 3 at the Library of Congress’ Packard Campus in Culpeper, Virginia.  This three-day event will introduce educators to an interdisciplinary curriculum covering a critical period of American history (1860 – 1900). Participants may attend one, two or three days of the morning workshops, which do require pre-registration.  Lunch will be provided for registered participants and the registration deadline is Friday, July 21st.
