Apply to be the next Teacher-in-Residence and a 1902 Egg Roll
The Educational Outreach Division of the Library of Congress is seeking applications from current teachers or library/media specialists for an Early Elementary Teacher-in-Residence position during the 2016-17 school year. Details about the position and application are available here. The application deadline is April 12th.
And to help celebrate the impending spring break and holidays, here's a restored film clip from Edison Studios, 1902: Babies Rolling Eggs at the White House. We recommend that you and your students watch the entire 1.35 minutes, and then discuss. This delightful clip is from the Library of Congress’ America at Work, America at Leisure: Motion Pictures from 1894-1915.
