Imagine a World Without a Playground . . .

Admittedly, it was the headline from July 23,1911 that first caught my eye - Missoula Playground Work, First in Montana, Gaining Support and Deservedly Successful - because Missoula, Montana is my hometown. Research can be so much fun for adults and students if there is a personal connection. Further, what teacher, student or parent isn't attracted to the notion of playgrounds or public organizations devoted to helping children? Put it all together and you will find so much to love in this month's Teachers Blog at the Library of Congress - How the Playground Movement Made a Case for Play.
