Primary Sources on East Asia American Traditions and Civil War Photography

A couple of great ideas for materials to support student research appeared in recent blogs from the Library of Congress.  East Asian American Traditions provides a collection of sound recordings, stories, religious customs, food, song and dance which Chinese, Korean and Japanese immigrants brought to the United States.

Items of  high interest to students living in our diverse communities include immigration activities from the Teacher Page: Recipes from around the world that have become imbedded in the United States culture and cuisine are also included.
